Robert Burns International Foundation teams up with 4 The Clients Insurance to support high-quality healthcare
This year, the Robert Burns International Foundation teamed up with Eszter Balázs at 4 The Clients Insurance to demonstrate once again its dedication to supporting high-quality healthcare at the Mezőtúr Town Hospital by donating two computers, two monitors and two printers to its Paediatric Department. This generous contribution replaces outdated equipment that had been limiting the staff’s ability to work efficiently and administer care smoothly.
Mezőtúr Town Hospital, officially known as Mezőtúri Kórház és Rendelőintézet, serves Mezőtúr and the surrounding communities with a population exceeding 32,000. The hospital currently provides a wide range of medical services through its various departments, and the Paediatric Department offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for children aged 0-18, within a child-friendly environment designed to ease the stress of hospitalisation for young patients and their families.
Dr. Antal Ferenc, head consultant of the Paediatric Department, warmly expressed his thanks on behalf of the staff and the children of Mezőtúr and the surrounding area:
“My sincere thanks to the Robert Burns International Foundation for their continued support of our department for the fifth time. Special thanks also to the Mayor for organising the logistics of the donation and acceptance. The handover was a joyful reunion full of shared happiness.”
The RBIF’s sustained generosity plays a pivotal role in helping the hospital maintain excellent healthcare despite challenges such as limited resources and aging infrastructure. The Paediatric Department’s staff and the community’s families appreciate this ongoing support, which directly enhances the care of their youngest members.
Dr Antal added:
“The two computers, monitors, and printers represent modern technology appropriate to current standards. This equipment will greatly facilitate our work and help speed up the administrative processes involved in childcare.”
With the foundation’s charitable efforts, the hospital continues to improve the health and well-being of children in the region.
